Joseph of Weymouth. Deane says he had one son Joseph, born 8 Jun 1674, and probably died young, since he removed to Boston, there had another Joseph, born 1678, and had est. at Scituate in 1670, but Deane was probably in error since the gravestone for the son Joseph died 23 May 1732 at 58 years old.2
"Joseph Nash ... had a house and lands in Scituate, at Greenfield lane, 1670, which he purchased of Walter Hatch. He removed to Boston before 1678. His son Joseph was born in 1678, in Boston."6
Joseph and Elizabeth probably moved to Boston after they purchased land there in 1675 from his father. They were living in Boston by 1679. Joseph purchased 300 acres in Harrisiket, ME, in 1683, and sold it in 1687. 31
