[1746.] This year, August 21st, the Rev. Benjamin Webb died, aged fifty-one years, having labored in the work of the ministry twenty-six years. His death was deeply lamented by his people.
It was then agreed to give the bereaved Mrs. Webb, £30, old tenor, for her support one year, and her fire-wood, provided she would board the minister, who should preach to them, for reasonable pay.

Eustis, Fla. - Norma Isabel (Williams) Sims, 89, died at Florida Hospital Waterman in Eustis on July 10, 2007.

Born in Osterville, she attended Barnstable public schools and graduated from Barnstable High School in 1934.

She was the wife of Robert F. Sims for 65 years. They were married in Port of Spain, Trinidad.

Mrs. Sims and her husband owned and operated the house and garden shop in Osterville from 1947 to 1974. They retired to Florida in 1978.

An accomplished oil painter, she had her work exhibited by the Cape Cod Art Association and the Mount Dora Art League. She also volunteered at Trout Lake Nature Center.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish and was active in many capacities, including as an usher, the bereavement ministry, and, most recently, collecting stamps for Habitat for Humanity.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Norma Roche and Barbara Joly and two grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her four siblings, Barbara Wyman and Louis, Albert ‘’Tuna” and John Williams.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 26, at 10 a.m., at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church of Osterville.
