The will of Thomas Linnell of Eastham, dated 1 July and proved 3 Oct. 1737, mentioned wife Thankful (executrix), four "small children," viz. Elkanah, Jonathan, Josiah and Thankful; and brother Jonathan Linnell. On 3 Oct. 1737 widow Thankful Linnel, as executrix of late husband Thomas, divided with his brother Jonathan Linel of Eastham lands there and in Harwich inherited by them from their father Jonathan Linel. 20
