"John and Ruth signed an agreement with Ruth's sibling's to divide her father Daniel COle's estate on 15 Jan 1694/5 that gave the homestead to Thomas Cole. Ruth had received things in her father's lifetime and after his death received £12 19s. Widow Ruth and eight living children agreed to divide John's estate mentioning land inherited from grandfather Daniel Cole on 19 June 1717."

Some children's dates are earlier than those in Langlais's "Young Family." Eastham is assumed but not proven. 29
